Sam Birdsell is a creative writer with an interest in history and historical events…with a specific interest in WWI and WWII. He is a big collector of military memorabilia which started when he was in the 6th grade and has grown into a mini-museum. During this upcoming school year, Sam is most looking forward to meeting new friends and making and sharing memories with this year’s yearbook committee. He prides himself in being very organized and punctual. Outside of school, he spends his time working in the produce department at Jewel with his older brother, watching Sox games, going to flea markets, and fishing. Another way he spends his free time is playing video games with his brothers and cousins on-line. Born and raised in Elgin, Sam lives with his parents, his younger brother Lucas who is a sophomore, and his older brother Evan who graduated St. Ed’s last year. He also has a dog named Stella and tortoise named Diego.
