Students created an incredible atmosphere

edwardUPDATE 1/27/16: Pack the Place was a success – the St. Edward community honored our late Superintendent, Father Edward Siesser, by dedicating the gym in his name. Both the varsity girls and boys basketball teams beat Hampshire in front of a sold-out crowd!

Come support the boys and girls Varsity basketball teams on Saturday, January 16th at ICCP in Elmhurst for their “Pack the Place” event! The Lady Green Wave will start late afternoon at 6:45 pm. Following the game, will be the boys’ game at 8:15 pm. All profits will benefit the organization, “Coaches Vs. Cancer.” ICCP will be selling “Shooting For a Cure” t-shirts at the door. The theme for the game is a blackout, so let’s fill all the stands and cheer on the Fighting Green Wave!

The night we have all been waiting for…the Pack The Place vs. Hampshire High School on Saturday, January 23rd. Last year there was a huge crowd at Hampshire, but let’s prove the Green Wave can pack our place! The day will begin with freshmen girls and boys games in the morning. JV Girls and Boys games begin 2:30pm. Come 6 o’clock the Varsity girls will take the court. The last game of the night will be the Varsity boys; tip-off will be at 7:30 pm. The theme for the game is USA- wear all the red, white, and blue you can find and cheer as loud as you can!

While talking to boys basketball coach, PJ White about the function, he mentioned how excited everyone is for it. “We’re looking forward to the pack the place against Hampshire. There should be some great games. During this time, we will take a moment and will honor Ft. Edward and dedicate the gym in his honor.”

The night will be full of fun, so come out and support the Green Wave!
