Cameron Carpio is a student at St. Edward who is always up to challenges and learning new things. Although dropping the Publications class after being in it for one day in her freshman year, she is giving it another shot as a sophomore as she has realized that the class is an opportunity for her to use her voice for a purpose and is also an opportunity to challenge her creative side. While inexperienced in journalism and photography, Cameron is looking forward to learning all that she can and doing her best. She also looks forward to stepping out of her comfort zone and working with other people. When she is not drowning in homework and textbooks, Cameron enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and shopping. Her favorite place in the world is the beach, where she loves being under the sun, eating açaí bowls, and surfing. She is the youngest of three brothers, and lives with her mom and dog. She looks forward to every summer where she gets to travel to the Philippines to see the rest of her family and friends.
