Spring is now here and summer is just around the corner. Looking for something to appease your sweet but fruity cravings? Well, look no more because this tart lemon bar recipe will not disappoint. Lemon bars are one of the best desserts for any kind of occasion, but when summer comes, they taste even better!

Lemon bars are a fun and easy way to get this season started on the right foot. They are very simple to make and don’t require a lot of ingredients. “This Easy Lemon Bars Recipe has the perfect combination of tart and sweet. Ingredients

Crust

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup powder sugar

½ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

2 ½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup all-purpose flour

7 large eggs

1 cup lemon juice

Pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line the bottom of the baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all of the dry crust ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the bowl then combine.
  4. Form an even layer across the bottom of the pan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 min then set it aside.
  6. Combine all the filling ingredients in a bowl and whisk but do not over mix.
  7. Pour filling over the crust and bake for 18-22 min until set.
  8. Cool for 15-20 min on the counter then refrigerate until firm.
  9. Finally cut into squares and lightly dust with powdered sugar, enjoy!
