Looking for a book that will forever change your life? Well, look no further because I present to you The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss. This book is a very emotional read. It was an emotional rollercoaster that I insist everyone reads at least once in their lives.

The book is about two kids, Sally and Sam. They are left alone at home for the day. Sadly, the day just seems to drag! Then suddenly their say is made interesting when they encounter the Cat. While the Cat is there, he brings chaos. He makes messes, but the messes make fun for Sally and Sam. The children worry their mom will be upset with the mess when she makes her return. The Cat assures them it will all be ok and to have fun. When the mom finally returns the mess magically disappears along with the Cat. Sally and Sam are left with nothing but a fun memory with the Cat.

I rated this book 9.5/10. It was an amazing read. But the one thing that would make the story a solid 10/10 is if we were shown where the Cat went. The Cat is one of the most inspiring characters I have read. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an inspirational read.
