As Spring season rolls in, the St. Edward softball team starts their season off with JV playing, today, against Batavia at the Elgin Sports Complex and the Varsity play their first conference game tomorrow at Chicago Christian.

Some of the teams top returners are- senior: Mallory Rejman, juniors: Sarah Mendoza, Lindsey Mauritzen, Jessy Kramp and sophomore: Chloe Davis.

Top newcomers to watch out for are- freshmen: Hannah Dorely, Ella O’Neill and Grace Vitek.

Senior team leader, Mallory Rejman, can’t wait for their upcoming season. She mentions “I’m excited to spend my last season getting to know the rest of the girls and watching us all improve throughout the entire season.”
