Are you looking for some fun things to do this winter? Well, you’re in luck! I have put together a list of some inexpensive activities to wash away the winter blues. Here are just a couple of the things to do that are right here, in the Chicago area.

1. Lincoln Park Zoolights Festival in Chicago
2. Maggie Daley Park ice skating ribbon in Chicago
3. Take a horse drawn carriage downtown Chicago
4. Museum of Science and Industry “Christmas Around the World” exhibit in Chicago
5. Villa Olivia snow tubing and skiing in Bartlett
6. Grab a cupcake and hot chocolate at Delish Cakes in Elgin
7. If you’re missing the summer heat, take a swim at the Centre of Elgin’s “Adventure Island”
8. Put on your thinking caps and head to Mastermind Escape Room in Schaumburg
