St. Edward is collaborating with Dunkin and Starbucks! Yeah, you read that right: this spring you will be able to order yourself a delicious refreshing drink for the warm upcoming weather along with a filling snack.
How do you do it?
You can either go to the office or lunch room in the morning or lunch, ordering times will be available between times 7:30am – 12:00pm Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays you are able to order all day! You will need to place your order in the office with a budget of $50 for the week. If you buy something, the office will pay up to 10% if you use your points on your order. Orders will be brought to the school through the Door Dash service. Once your order arrives to the office, your name will be announced via the intercom.
There will be some boundaries added to this reward, including that you can only buy 2 things per day, and you can get this privilege taken away (individually) if you spill your beverage in class. If you are a Starbucks or Dunkin rewards member, you can use points you earned by getting your order served to where you are, and you can use these points when ordering from other stores.
Why are we doing this?
This idea was strongly suggested by the front office to combat how many people are late due their dink or food in their hand when they come sign in to the office. Mrs. Roesslein was one of the biggest supporters behind the idea, mentioning, “Students will finally be on time, happy with a drink in hand! I think this will also lift student and staff morale.”
Starbucks and Dunkin are just the beginning. During special weeks/holidays, the office will have a raffle with a selection of different restaurants and if your name is drawn, you can pick 10 people to dine with you during your lunch/resource. There will also be a household challenge – if members of a house raise over 2000 house points, everyone in the household will be able to choose any restaurant and get their order delivered for lunch.
You can begin placing your orders in the main office this first week of April!
