Johannie Jimenez is a beginner photographer who is always looking for critiques and feedback.  This year, she hopes to improve her editing and photography skills along with angle work.  She is excited to join Publications to work on the yearbook and improve her skills!  Even though she’s currently unable to move her leg due to injury, she played basketball, volleyball, and softball during her freshmen year.  Outside of school, she bakes and cooks for herself and family. Her favorite dish to make is Honey Salmon with white rice and a side of potato wedges; yet her famous dish is her Italian pasta.  She deeply values spending time with her family.  She lives with her mom, her dog Lucas James, and her cousins.  She bikes and walks with cousins, exploring the City of Elgin every summer.  Lets hope she stays on a bike though, because once she starts driving, you better clear the streets.  Especially since she still doesn’t know her lefts and rights.
