Do you enjoy watching plays, seeing, musicals, hearing the school’s band, or even being a part of it all? St. Edward Central Catholic High School is constructing the brand-new Fox Family Fine Arts Center that the students can perform in thanks to the donation of two former students of the school, Geoff Fox and Robert Fox.
The construction of the building is going smoothly. Mrs. Schroeder, the school’s business manager says, “It’s going very well, and we are on track to have a sturdy roof by winter.” The construction crew even has the whole interior layout planned out and their plans on what events are going to be held there. The fine arts center will be able to hold a total of 299 people in the audience, which is perfect for a small school like St. Edward. The events held in the theater will include concerts, plays, musicals, special occasions, music classes, and all school Masses. Many are excited to hear the news of Mass being held in the new building, rather than our school’s gym. The school even ordered a beautiful banner with an image of a cross on it to hang in the fine arts center for Mass.
It is overall very exciting for St. Edward to get to have a new addition to the school’s building. The fine arts center is currently under construction and seems that it is being quickly completed. The whole school gets to see the process of the construction daily as they arrive for school. This is a cool process the whole school gets to be a part of and soon they will get to see the final product of the fine arts center.
