St. Ed’s Publications put out a survey a few weeks ago asking everyone which teacher had the most holiday spirit. The results were…unexpected.  Students were given three days to vote.  Almost immediately, a certain someone got 27 votes on the first day! 

Let us start off with our 3rd place winner. With 15 votes….Mr. Bimmerle wins the above average Christmas spirit award! (Just look at his tie game! It is impeccable).  

You know when you look at somebody’s Christmas lights, and you thought, “Wow, these are the best Christmas lights I have ever seen!” and then you look at their neighbors and you think, “Wow, these are so much better than their neighbors!” It is a little like that. Our 2nd place winner is none other than Ms. Weber with 19 votes! Woohoo!  

And now… for the moment you have all been waiting forrrrr…… the 1st place winner is…. Coach Aydt?!  

His direct quote after his hearing of his accomplishment was, “Bah humbug”.  

In a way this is kind of like the hit 1966 cinematic masterpiece, The Grinch. Coach Aydt hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don’t ask why. No one quite knows the reason. It could be his head wasn’t screwed on just right. It could be, perhaps, that his shoes were too tight. But I think that the most likely reason of all may have been that his heart was two sizes too small.”
