The boys and girls cross country team will be competing at sectionals on Saturday, October 28. They will be competing at Community Park in Lisle, IL. The girls who will be racing are Jase Leonard, Maddie Ellsworth, Katie Ellsworth, Sophie Danner, Kailey Wood, Emily Wagh, and Heidi Kirchen. The boys who will be competing are Alex Garcia, Jake Middleton, Matt Brady, Max Marquez, Ethan Wagh, Chris Costales, and Bryan Lagtapon.

On Monday, October 16, the cross country girl’s varsity team competed at the MSC- Red Division Championships at Elmwood Park High School. The girls were able to take first place at the conference as a team with five of the girls placing in the top twelve. Maddie Ellsworth came in 5th place with a time of 20:28.7, Jase Leonard came in 8th place with a time of 20:59.9, Katie Ellsworth came in 9th place with a time of 21:12.6, Sophie Danner came in 10th place with a time of 21:23.0, and Kailey Wood came in 12th place with a time of 21.31.4. There were also two other girls who competed in this race, Emily Wagh and Heidi Kirchen. Emily got 16th place with a time of 22:00.6 and Heidi got 17th place with a time of 22:21.6.
