St. Edward is holding a “Day of Blessings”, a one-day social media driven fundraiser, on March 13. This fundraiser is a day to come together to celebrate, unite, and support St. Edward. Many communications will be posted on the St. Edward social media, such as video testimonials and pictures from past yearbooks, and St. Edward would enjoy seeing people share their fun, fond memories from their experiences.
2025 is the first year that St. Edward is holding a Day of Blessings fundraiser. “We call it the Day of Blessings because we feel St. Edward has blessed many lives and will continue into the future,” said Siobhan Cottone, the Director of Advancement and Development. On March 12th, there will be a kickoff held at the Walnut Speakeasy from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. March 13th will be filled with many exciting activities for both donors and students. The first activity on the schedule will be donuts, donations, and tours from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. During this time, donors can drop off their donation in person to get a donut, coffee, and tour from a St. Edward student. The donor will also be given the opportunity to fill out a heart, sharing why the school is a blessing to them. If a donor is a parent, they can come in with their student in the morning; the student will be able to dress down and get a donut with their parent.
Next, from 3:00 to 6:30 pm, a Phone-a-Thon will be held, in which student ambassadors will call donors for support and to hear the fun stories that the donors wish to share. Then, the student jazz band will perform a jazz concert from 6:30 to 7:30 in the new Fox Family Performing Arts Center. After the jazz concert, a social reception will be held where the audience will be able to mingle with the student performers and continue the St. Edward celebration.
The Day of Blessings is a day to build excitement with past, current, and future St. Edward community members about why this school is so loved and cherished. Help St. Edward reach our goal of $130,000. Through your generous support, we can ensure a continued legacy of faith and learning, empowering future generations and strengthening our community for years to come.
