Ms. Hogan is the new art teacher here at St. Edward. She has a huge passion for art and loves helping other people find their own passion for art. “I have always loved dabbling in every kind of art field and when I was looking for a job after I graduated, I really missed teaching others about art and others find their passions.” One of her favorite things about teaching at St. Edward is seeing everyone’s personalities. “The students are very kind but are also all driven with their own creativity,” she says. Ms. Hogan is very passionate about helping people, which is why if she could have any superpower in the world, she would want the ability to help and heal others.

Favorites can show a person’s personality; Ms. Hogan’s favorite thing to do in her free time along with creating art, is to capture the world’s beauty. Since Ms. Hogan is very into creativity, she loved creative writing while in school and loves being able to express her artistic side. Previously, Ms. Hogan worked for a newspaper company, allowing her writing creativity to really grow. Another source of creativity for Ms. Hogan is in video games; Ms. Hogan also assists with the Gaming Club.

One of her dream vacations is to go visit The Louve in Paris. Ms. Hogan’s favorite restaurant is Gia Mia’s; her favorite dish to order there is the gnocchi because she and her sister would always get that when they were younger. Ms. Hogan has a lot of favorites alongside hobbies, but overall, she is a very creative, artsy person who loves to help others find their passions.
