ARTIST: Megan Cielak GRADE: 12 TITLE: Study Hall COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: "I made this using multiple pictures with the same background and merging the layers to create one person in multiple places."

ARTIST: Jess Jasso GRADE: 10 Self Portrait For their finals, art students had to draw self portraits.

ARTIST: Lauren Biggins GRADE: 10 Self Portrait COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: For their finals, art students had to draw self portraits. "I used black and white charcoal and graphite to create my self portrait."

ARTIST: Sophia Heneghan GRADE: 11 TITLE: Pop Art Photo COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: "I wanted to express my personality. So, I went with blue hair and a funny (almost sarcastic) pose to portray this. I took a picture of myself, put a filter over it, and colored it with contrasting colors to mimic the pop art feel. I am really happy with the way it turned out."...

ARTIST: Claudia Sajtar GRADE: 11 TITLE: Lame COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: "It is a reference to the tragic meaning of my first name, Claudia. Because I can't change the meaning of my name I wanted to reclaim m the word lame and showcase it in a more positive form with a bright color scheme."    

ARTIST: Kiana Horn GRADE: 12 TITLE: "Feed Your Head" COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: "Feed your head with knowledge instead of drugs. I drew the airplane to represent the band, Jefferson Airplane, who sings the song, "White Rabbit"

ARTIST: Derrick Soroka GRADE: 12 TITLE: Insanity HOW THIS WAS MADE: "First I used a brush to wet a paper, then used water colors on it. Afterwards, I put a paper bag over it and using the air bubbles it created lines as it dried. Then I used Sharpie to find a picture.

STUDENT: Molly Eisen GRADE: 12 TITLE: Modern Sedations COMMENT FROM THE ARTIST: It's meant as satire for the harshness of today's standards of what should or should not be easy for a person.
